Locally grown

I am now 100% devoted to organic foods. I was watching 60 minutes tonight and they had an interview with Alice Waters. She owns a restaurant called Chez Panisse in Berkley, California and has become the mother of slow foods. During the interview Alice brings us into her kitchen to show us how to make scrumptious recipes from organic locally produced foods. Her kitchen is beautiful and very old world. Now, should I plant strawberries or lavender first?
